Through the use of exterior materials compatible with others on the existing campus, the designers were able to conceal the economical pre-engineered metal building structure. Subtle design features, such as brick soldier coursing and mechanical unit screening contribute to the overall aesthetic appearance without compromising the budget. The six spacious classrooms contain sloped ceilings with ceiling fans, built-in millwork and colors which compliment the building’s exterior scheme. Artful landscaping and site features complete the total package to create an environment which is conducive to student learning. Completion Date: 1996 Construction Cost: $606,517

Faced
with the challenge of a limited construction budget and the owner’s need for
more classroom space, Fauntleroy & Latham, Inc. worked closely with the
contractor and owner to design this 8,025 square foot classroom building to be
both economical and functional.
