Fauntleroy & Latham, Inc., provided full architectural services for the design and construction administration of Citizens Bank & Trust. Located in St. Tammany Parish on Highway 25, this facility serves the expanding population of the North Covington/Folsom area. Completion Date: 2003
This large branch bank serves as the St. Tammany Parish Headquarters for Citizens Savings Bank of Washington Parish. We were hired to design a state of the art building on the heavily traveled US 190 corridor in Covington that would incorporate convenient drive-up and walk-in access with strong curb appeal and identity. The building exterior has a large glass atrium lobby, cast stone porch and details, brick veneer, and a signature roof color to identify Citizens Savings Bank from it's competitors. The interior will have numerous teller stations, mortgage bank offices, customer service offices, loan origination and closing offices, as well as conference and staff lounge facilities. Like many banks who have moved into St. Tammany Parish, Citizens wants a strong facility identity to reinforce their outstanding commitment to service. Completion Date: 2005
The scope of the project was to design prototype bank branches for a new Regional Bank for various sites through-out Louisiana. Built of brick, stained wood, and traditional window and door designs the exterior architecture of the branches needs to identify Statewide Bank for marketing and visibility, as well as comfortably fit into various city, town and village settings and environments. The interior features of the banks continue to emphasize the traditional strong and timeless communities where the branches are located. Brick, tile, stained oak veneers and cutting edge technology come together to make the branches both progressive in service and traditional in appeal and attractiveness. The goal is for all Statewide Banks to be good community citizens in service as well as in architectural character.
